Seller terms

These terms govern your listing and sale of devices on Aftermac. By publishing a listing you agree to the conditions below.

1. Listing accuracy

You confirm that every device you list is yours to sell, free of liens or encumbrances, and is described accurately. Misgraded condition, undisclosed defects, or omitted accessories are grounds for listing removal, payout reversal, and suspension of your seller verification.

2. Self-assessment and honesty

You grade your own device using the condition cards (A/B/C/D) and disclose battery health, accessory completeness, and any defects. Aftermac does not inspect or grade devices on your behalf — the accuracy of your listing is your responsibility. Buyers rely on the grade and disclosures you provide; misrepresentation is grounds for listing removal, payout reversal, and seller suspension.

3. Identity verification

To sell on Aftermac you must complete seller verification. Today this is a manual review: individual sellers upload an ID document and businesses upload commercial registration documents, and an Aftermac admin reviews the submission. Integration with eKey (Bahrain national ID) and Nafath (Saudi national ID) for individual sellers, and eKYB checks against commercial registries for businesses, is upcoming and will replace the manual document review when available.

4. Commission and fees

Aftermac retains a commission on every sale at the rate shown in your seller dashboard at the time of listing. Payment processing fees and any optional buyer-financing fees are deducted before your payout. Fee rates are configured by Aftermac and may change for future listings — the rate shown when you publish a listing is the rate that applies to that sale.

5. Payouts

Seller payouts are held until the buyer confirms receipt or the auto-release window elapses, then released to the bank account on file in your verified seller profile, less the commission and fees disclosed at listing time. The current confirmation window and auto-release timing are shown in your seller dashboard.

6. Buyer offers

If you enable offers on a listing, you may accept, reject, or counter offers received within 7 days. Accepting an offer constitutes a binding commitment to sell at the agreed price. Any minimum-offer floor you configure is enforced automatically.

7. Disputes

Buyers have a confirmation window after delivery during which they can flag a dispute — for example, if the device does not match the grade or disclosures you listed. While a dispute is open, payout is paused and Aftermac reviews the evidence submitted by both sides. Resolutions can include releasing the payout, ordering a refund, or reversing a payout already released, at Aftermac's discretion based on the listing, the disclosures, and these terms.

8. Prohibited items

You may not list stolen goods, replicas, items with undisclosed defects that materially affect function, or devices subject to Apple's iCloud activation lock without proof of legitimate ownership.

9. Suspension

Aftermac may suspend or terminate your seller status for repeated misgrading, late shipping, fraud, abusive behavior toward buyers or staff, or violation of these terms. Suspended sellers' active listings are removed from the marketplace.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version shown at the time of each listing applies to that sale. Continued use of the seller flow after an update constitutes acceptance of the new version.
